That’s where most people begin. But without somatic calibration, that vision stays aesthetic. You can’t build a new identity on top of old nervous system patterns.
That’s when it landed for me: I was approaching identity evolution the same way I always had — from the mind. I was trying to think my way into becoming her. But you can’t integrate a new self-concept if your body doesn’t feel safe holding it. I wasn’t misaligned. I was disembodied.
Once I began looking at Human Design, the Gene Keys, and shadow work through a somatic lens, everything softened. Shadow work stopped feeling like self-critique and became a ritual of return. These energetic systems stopped living in my head and started moving through my body as felt experience. For the first time, I didn’t just understand who I was becoming — I could embody her.
